This light yet rich hydrating creme is infused with skin loving beneficial botanicals like calendula flowers and rose petals. Organic rose hydrosol and aloe vera add moisture to skin, and shea butter and beeswax fortify the skin barrier to keep that hydration in.
Suitable for sensitive skin. Free of essential oils. Perfect for hydrating and nourishing many skin types, especially dry or maturing skin.

Infused with whole plant organic botanicals that have antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and cell regenerative properties for the skin.
Scent: Subtle herbal notes, with overtones of rose.
Since it's fresh and "super natural" skin food, store in a cool place away from direct sunlight and use within 3 months.
High temps may change the consistency, if shea butter beads form, it's okay! If separation occurs due to heat, stir with a clean, dry utensil and refrigerate for an hour or two. Because this creme is free of emulsifiers and fillers, shipping during hot weather may alter the consistency, but it cannot be returned due to this and the product is still effective.

Creme is packaged in glass recyclable containers with metal lids and plastic-free, compostable labels.

Suggested Use:
With clean, dry fingers, apply day or night to clean face and neck.
If layering additional products, let creme absorb into skin for about one minute. A little goes a long way.

About the ingredients used:
Jojoba oil
Jojoba oil has a proven anti-inflammatory effect. Studies have found it to also have an antioxidant effect, assist in wound healing and protect against skin aging. Jojoba seed oil is actually a wax and it closely mimics our skin’s sebum which aids in absorption, and skin barrier protection and repair. Jojoba oil is non-comedogenic and non allergenic. It also glides on the skin so nicely, so is wonderful for facial massage.
Aloe Vera
Aloe vera is a medicinal plant, traditionally used to improve skin integrity. It is known for its anti-inflammatory, skin protection, anti-bacterial, anti-viral, antiseptic, and wound healing properties.
Aloe vera contains 75 potentially active constituents: vitamins, enzymes, minerals, sugars, lignin, saponins, salicylic acids and amino acids.
It can be used to retain skin moisture and integrity. Aloe stimulates fibroblast which produces the collagen and elastin fibers making the skin more elastic and less wrinkled.
Calendula
Calendula is a beautiful plant! The chemical constituents in Calendula possess wound-healing action, management of skin hyper-pigmentation, anti-inflammatory action, and skin-protective action. Calendula has been proven to have antioxidant, anti-cancer, anti-fungal and skin protective activities. It has shown to both inhibit collagen degradation and support collagen production. It helps facilitate the movement of lymph. It’s considered a gentle skin care plant and is helpful for sensitive skin.
Rose
Rose petals have been shown to exhibit anti-inflammatory and antioxidant activities for the skin. Rose can be used cosmetically to fight stress-induced skin fatigue and to boost the skin’s natural defenses against daily stressors. A study supports the idea that the olfactory system is involved in facilitating anti-stress responses in the skin. So, when you smell that gorgeous rose scent, the feeling of relaxation it provides may be also helping your skin!
Beeswax
Scientific literature shows that beeswax can help maintain skin hydration by supporting the skin barrier. It has lubricating, and softening activities. Beeswax contains beta carotene that converts into Vitamin A, which delays collagen degeneration and stimulates skin regeneration. It also smells wonderful. Thank your bees who provide this amazing wax! They need our support.
Shea Butter
So rich and supportive! Studies have shown shea butter to contribute to skin barrier strength and protection. A study indicates that shea butter contains properties that hold collagen-enhancing and regenerating properties. Shea Butter also has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects.

I started creating skincare products to tend to the needs of my sensitive and maturing skin. I wanted to control the quality and purity of the ingredients that were being applied to my skin on a daily basis and limit my plastic use.
I learned how to make potent herbal oil infusions that are both effective and gentle. I sent out balms to friends and family as gifts, and got fabulous feedback. I realized that what worked so well for my skin was working for others as well. I kept developing products and Vibrant Earth Botanicals was born!

The Rose Gold Face Cream is beyond wonderful. A small amount spreads evenly and cozy onto my face morning and night. But the true miracle of the cream is that my face is smoother, and less wrinkled.
